• Do you supply catering?

You are welcome to BYO beverages and

catering or alternatively we can organise

platters such as Grazing boxes, warm canapes,

fruit, gourmet sandwiches, wraps, chicken,

antipasto, dessert etc.  These options can be

discussed with our bookings team.

• What is the maximum guest capacity?

For day charters on the Brisbane River, we can

accommodate up to 35 guests.  For day charters

on the picturesque Moreton Bay we can

accommodate 12 guests.  For overnight charters

we can accommodate up to 8 guests.

• What do we wear?

Shannon Star is a luxurious vessel. To ensure

you and future guests enjoy her luxury we want

you to be comfortable, however, please:

• Wear soft-soled shoes and leave your stilettos at home

• Be conscious of bulky jewellery that might scratch surfaces

• What does the charter rate include?

• What happens if the weather is bad?

All charters will proceed regardless of weather conditions, unless deemed unsafe by the Master on the day.  Shannon Star does not consider heavy rain, localised roadway flooding or most thunderstorms as severe weather.  We have a wonderful saloon and undercover back deck area which can host all guests in the event of wet weather.

• Is smoking allowed on board?

Shannon Star has a NO SMOKING policy.  Smoking is not permitted on or inside the vessel at any time during the Charter.

• What is the cancellation policy? 

Private Charters require a minimum 30 day notice of cancellation.  

• More than 30 days from travel date: full refund of monies received will be issued less a 25% deposit.

• Less than 30 days from travel: 100% cancellation fee will apply

• No show: Refunds, reschedules or credits are not permitted.  Missed charters or late arrivals are considered ‘No Shows’ and are subject to the above terms and conditions
